I have a small studio apt. and though it does eventually gets cool, the air that comes out is just cool, NOT cold.. and this AC is VERY VERY loud. impossible to watch TV in the same room. switching fan setting from high to low doesn't make ANY difference in noise - bad air flow design. (this is airflow and fan noise, not the vibration form improper installation as some other people wrote in their reviews. believe me, my AC is properly installed and the noise is not from vibration but from the fan and air flow).
