(More customer reviews)Purchased this air curtain for a exterior door that often gets left open letting in flies, mosquitoes, etc and letting out the cool air. Unit installed in less than 10-minutes. Instruction manual was a little confusing because it was OBVIOUSLY written by somebody with English as a second language. Installation is pretty simple: mount the wall bracket with 3 lag screws into the header over the door, hang the unit on the bracket, install three screws which hold the unit to the bracket, plug it in, and your done. While there is some noise associated with the fan, it isn't so loud as to be a nuisance. Does a very affective job at keeping out insects while keeping in the air conditioning. Unit comes with a plunger switch to activate the fan when the door is opened and turn off the fan when the door is closed. Did not install the plunger switch so I can't make any comments regarding the switch.
