(More customer reviews)My old lamp died, finally thank heaven, it was always slipping. But this new one is great. The neck bends any level you want and there are no screws or knobs to tighten it and slip later. Just bend and go. The base is larger than I thought, about 8 x 9 oval, and very nice on the desk. Well balanced and sturdy. Has a nice big button right on top of the base, easy to find in the dim or dark. I researched a new desk lamp and am glad I settle on this one.
