(More customer reviews)I bought this Soleus ductless heat pump upon the recommendations of my local A.C. contractor here in Lancaster Ca. I was unable to find any reviews on line so the purchase was made entirely upon his advice. I have only had it for two weeks so reliability is unknown. What I can say is it is very noisy even on the low fan settings. My T.V. volume must be increased from a quarter of the way to over half to be able to hear while the indoor unit is running at low speed. At the higher speed the volume must be increased to three quarters of the way. I have had several window air conditioners and they have not been as noisy as this unit. Also when the fan first turns on there is a plastic smell which last for a few minutes.
