(More customer reviews)I bought this pump in an on-line auction... used for one job by the first owner. It arrived in like-new condition in the original box with all papers and packing materials. I have used it on residential HVAC service calls, replacing split condensing units 3 times, installing a new split system once, and replacing compressors 2 or 3 times. I have not used it on MVAC to date, but will do so soon because I sold the other pump I was using. Inclusion of the ACME port is a plus for those doing both HVAC and MVAC.
I have changed the oil two times in two years intermittent usage. Keep in mind I'm in Arizona and do not have much moisture in systems I evacuate. I plan to change the oil again this week after two recent pump-downs on residential AC units. I also plan to adjust/tighten the packing nut to see if this improves sealing of the shut-off valve. Recent use indicated a loss of 600+ microns when turning the valve to closed. See my other review of the Yellow Jacket 69075 vacuum gauge.
Overall I am very pleased with this unit.
